The Vaughn VE8 pro is Vaughn's newest pad in their Velocity line. The Vaughn VE8 Pro Senior leg pad is based off of its bigger brother the VE8 Pro Carbon Sr, and carries the same feel and some features down to a more reasonable price point.

The Vaughn VE8 Pro senior goalie leg pad features Vaughn`s new magnetic buckle attach system. This new system allows for the same quick attach as most velcro systems, but maintains the much tighter feel of a traditional leather strap. The Vaughn VE8 pro goalie leg pad also features the same Pro-core construction, just with HD foams in place of the Carbon Enhanced Performance. This Pro-core construction ensures the durability of the pad especially when used with the stiffened boot that the VE8 Pro Senior leg pad offers as well.

Flat knee rolls are also included on the VE8 senior goalie leg pad. This is something that carried over from the V7 XF, and provides a predictable rebound while also giving the classic knee roll look.
