This Vlisco Tisse de Woodin Classic African Fabric was made by the original company, established in the 19th century in the Netherlands, before ownership changed hands in very recent years. I purchased all fabrics while in Africa in the late 20th century through 2001, which is why most designs, are unique to this shop.

The colors in this fabric of Maroon, Yellow, Red, White, Black, and Sepia with Mahogany notes are rich and vividly warm The fabric is thicker than most fabrics currently available.

Vlisco Fabrics are also referred to as Dutch Wax or Hollandais Fabric. Woodin and GTP brands sold in this shop are also under the Vlisco umbrella, and were made in West Africa in collaboration with African designers.

This unique fabric works equally well for fashion or home decor.

We do not cut fabric; it comes just as it was purchased.
